A Nutrition Degree, or Nutrition Science Degree, enables graduates to join in the healthcare industry by offering insight into the complexities of health, diet and disease. Professionals are often referred to as Nutritionists or Dieticians. The Nutritionists or Dieticians will provide advice and information regarding healthy dietary habits to patients requiring aid in solving health issues. Some responsibilities in this field include the research of nutritional habits, preparation of foods, diet plan development, and diet regime supervision. Depending on which stream a graduate chooses, he or she can be given the designation of a Registered Dietician or a Dietetic Technician.
