Professionals with an Online Computer Science Degree are capable of understanding programming languages and the configurations of computer systems, as well as being capable of a theoretical and practical approach to computer science. Computer Science programs focus on basic computing skills using Unix, software engineering and design skills. Positions open to graduates of this program are varied, and include computer programmer, technical writer, software engineer, web designer or network administrator. The setting for these positions can also be varied, and graduates might find themselves in a corporate, nonprofit or government organization.
