For a basic, entry-level position in Criminal Justice, there are several certificate programs that will help to educate or improve the student’s skills. Most certificate programs focus on one particular aspect of criminal justice. These topics may include, law enforcement, probation, crime scene investigation, security services, or corrections. The certificate programs tend to cover a very general understanding of the United States Criminal Justice system, and then focus on the particular topic of choice. Certification may also grant you credits towards earning a degree.
