A PhD in Criminal Justice is the highest degree that can be achieved. By this point, the student has been able to master all aspects of Criminal Justice, and may consider taking on a teaching role or research role in a college or university. Typically PhD degree holders have the potential to earn a higher salary than those with a Bachelor’s degree program.
