If one is interested in the study of sociology, but doesn’t want to commit to a 4-year Bachelor’s degree, they may wish to consider earning a 2-year Associate’s degree in sociology first. Sociology majors study human behavior in all forms, including human interactions and how they pertain to society and group structures. With the various factors that affect humans in their daily life (socially, religiously and legally); there are unsaid guidelines that are being constantly followed by every human being, which sociologists study. Once a student feels that this is a field that captivates and holds their interest, they may wish to pursue a more advanced degree, whether it is a Bachelor’s degree, Master’s degree or even a PhD.
