Court reporters have the ability to work freelance or full-time in many different venues. The process of court reporting is used to transcribe court proceedings, depositions, and even as a transcriber for close-captioned television. Many Court Reporting Degrees can allow the graduate to pursue a variety of positions in all levels. Students may also consider obtaining Certified Shorthand Reporter Licensure.
